2 Year Warranty
Kleenmaid offers a 2 Year Parts and Labour Warranty with an option to purchase an additional 3 or 8 Year Extended Warranty. This gives Kleenmaid customers peace of mind on their appliance purchases for up to 10 years.
Domestic Household Warranty – 2 Years
In addition to all statutory rights which you, the consumer, have under the relevant laws in respect of this appliance during the original warranty period as the original purchaser of this Kleenmaid appliance from a Kleenmaid retail store, we guarantee that any fault caused by faulty material or workmanship becoming apparent will be rectified free of charge for parts and labour, provided that all service is performed during normal work hours by a Kleenmaid authorised technician. Where the appliance is installed outside the normal servicing area of the above, the purchaser may be required to pay for the cost of transporting the appliance to and from the Kleenmaid Service Technician and/or the Technician's travelling cost to and from the Purchaser's home unless advised otherwise in writing.

Optional 3 or 8 Year Extended Warranty
An additional 3 or 8 Year Warranty for extended peace of mind may be purchased in-store or by calling 1800 897 507.
What’s Not Included?
Consistent with your original Warranty, Kleenmaid is not responsible for any damage or malfunction unless caused by a defect in material or workmanship. This includes but is not limited to abuse, misuse, improper installation and transportation damage. We are not responsible for any consequential damages from any malfunction. The Consumer must make the appliance available for servicing and shall bear any costs incurred for any de-installation and/or re-installation required to make the appliance available for servicing. Kleenmaid is not liable for any consequential damage incurred during de-installation or re-installation.
This warranty does not cover consumables, such as, filters, vacuum cleaner bags, or glass breakage due to impact. (In case of fractured glass do not use your appliance).
Items Not Covered in Years 3-10 (Including Extended Warranty)
During years 3-10, the warranty does not cover:
- Non operating cosmetic items, paint, or product finish.
- Defects in any external wiring, electrical connection or plumbing which is not part of the product.
- Routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication or external adjustments.
- Costs associated with a repairer inspecting the product if no fault or damage is found.
- Damage caused by accident, neglect, abuse, misuse, actual or attempted theft, sand, water damage, rust, corrosion, fire, vermin and/or insect infestation, acts of God, commercial usage, power outages or surges, inadequate voltage or current.
- Damage occurring during transportation, installation or while moving the product.
- Faults or defects arising from unauthorised modifications or failure to follow the manufactures instructions for use and care, installation or maintenance.
- Costs of removal or reinstallation.
Repair or Replace
If your Kleenmaid appliance breaks down, we will repair it, or replace it.
Kleenmaid will always, subject to the full terms, conditions, details and exclusions of your plan contained herein, repair your equipment unless:
- We cannot repair it; or
- We cannot obtain the spare parts to repair it; or
- We can replace it for less than the cost of the repair.
When we have replaced your equipment with a replacement as determined by and at the sole discretion of Kleenmaid, the balance of the existing warranty will apply to the replacement product.
If we do not repair your equipment we will replace it with equipment of the same or similar specification at Kleenmaid's sole discretion.
You must also pay for delivery and/or installation charges.
We will not be responsible for any costs that you may incur to dispose of your original equipment.
Exclusion of Third Party Rights
The Kleenmaid 2 Year Warranty is for the benefit of the warranty holder only and any permitted transferee and no rights or benefits will be given to any other third party under the plan.
Transferring Your Warranty
You can transfer your Kleenmaid Warranty to a new owner of the appliance as long as you give us written details of the new owner. Your Kleenmaid warranty cannot be transferred to any other appliance or equipment.
End of Warranty Period
All warranties carry a start and end date. For a period of 14 days after warranty expiry, Kleenmaid can make judgements considering assistance outside the warranty period.
We welcome and appreciate feedback from you, our customers so we can ensure we are constantly achieving the levels of service we strive to provide. We hope you are satisfied with our response to your enquiry. If you are not satisfied, you can ask for your case to be reviewed by us and a final decision on behalf of the Managing Director, Kleenmaid.
Terms & Conditions of Sale
1.1 A minimum 30% deposit is payable upon processing of the Order by Kleenmaid. This deposit is refundable until such time as the selected product/s are delivered or this Agreement is terminated.
1.2 The balance of the agreed Price is payable on the earlier of:
Two (2) days prior to despatch.
30 days from the date of this order.
1.3 If there is more than one product on the order and they have different delivery dates, each product's agreed price must be paid in accordance with the above conditions specified in clauses 1.1 and 1.2
2.1 If the Customer fails to make a payment to Kleenmaid when owing, this Agreement is terminated with immediate effect.
3.1 The Customer agrees to confirm the required delivery date and address (as specified in the Order or alternative address) between 14 and 21 days prior to required delivery.
3.2 Kleenmaid is not required to deliver the products in accordance with 3.1 if the delivery address is outside a city metropolitan area. Kleenmaid may instead notify the Customer of the location at which the products will be delivered ready for collection.
3.3 Kleenmaid will use reasonable endeavours to deliver the products on the delivery date. If Kleenmaid is unable to deliver the product/s (for whatever reason), it will use reasonable endeavours to do so within a reasonable period after the requested delivery date.
3.4 If the model of the product ordered is discontinued or superseded, Kleenmaid will notify the Customer at time of delivery confirmation as specified in clause 3.1. Kleenmaid will then:
a. Supply or provide a model of equivalent standard, and specify details pertaining to the new model and any addition to the Price for the new model; or
b. If there is no equivalent model available, this Agreement is terminated with immediate effect.
3.5 If the Customer accepts Kleenmaid's offer of an alternative model in accordance with clause 3.4(a), the product/s this Agreement will be varied in accordance with Kleenmaid's offer. If the Customer rejects Kleenmaid's offer of an alternative model, this Agreement is terminated with immediate effect.
4. Ownership and Risk
4.1 Ownership of the products remains with Kleenmaid until the Price is paid in full and the product/s have been delivered to the Customer.
4.2 The risk of loss of or damage to the product/s passes to the Customer upon delivery or collection.
4.3 Any claim for damages on delivery must be made to Kleenmaid within seven (7) days of delivery. Product returned to Kleenmaid in these circumstances can only be returned if it is accompanied by or in its original packaging. Kleenmaid retains the right to reject any claim for damages not made in accordance with this clause.
Every Kleenmaid product is backed by a full 2 Year Warranty, giving you 2 years of trouble-free use and peace of mind. For warranty terms and conditions please see above.
Kleenmaid will not offer a refund after the delivery of product/s unless products have been wrongly described, are different from the sample shown or do not perform the function for which they are prescribed.
If this Agreement is terminated, no part of the Price is payable and Kleenmaid will refund any deposit. However, Kleenmaid will not be liable for interest or any other loss or damage resulting from termination or non-delivery of the product/s.
8.2 Kleenmaid may disclose personal information to related companies and to organisations which provide services (including delivery services) to Kleenmaid or which assist Kleenmaid in providing services (including repair and warranty services) for Customers.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement is subject to the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia.
'Agreement' means the Order and terms and conditions.
'Commercial Application' means an application other than domestic use.
'Customer' means the person or entity whose name and address appears on the Order as the purchaser of the product/s.
'Despatch" means the date the products are despatched from the Kleenmaid Distribution Facility.
'Kleenmaid ' means Kleenmaid Pty Ltd or any related entity.
'Order' means the order provided by the Customer to Kleenmaid for the purchase of the product/s.
'Price' means the amount payable by the Customer to Kleenmaid for the product/s as specified in the order.
